Welcome to Coventry Deviants





What is *CoventryDeviants?


-*CoventryDeviants is a collection of local arists from the
town of Coventry, Connecticut joining together to display our
art in a collective fashion.


What is the aim of *CoventryDeviants?


-*CoventryDeviants is a community inspired by local activity.
We hope to collaborate between artists and have group-wide
projects.


-Another aim of *CoventryDeviants is to help members
realize how vast the world of art expands. You may think
you're alone in your town, but if you search around, we bet
you're not.


-Also, we hope to provide an unbiased community where
Coventry residents can communicate and collaborate freely,
without judgment. The only restriction is that we will not
feature deviations that we feel are to graphic or pieces that
we think are not meant "for the sake of art"


-Finally, *CoventryDeviants wishes to promote local art across
the entire DeviantArt community.


What do I need to do to become a member?


-First, you have to have lived a reasonable duration of your
life in the town of Coventry, Connecticut.


-Second, you have to be willing to allow us to feature your
deviations.


-Third, send us a [Note] stating that you would like to join us.



-Finally, add us to your watch, and place our icon
in your journal entries (if you can) and spread the word (and
the <3)!!!


What does being a member mean exactly?


-When you become a member to *CoventryDeviants you're
showing your support for local art, as well as displaying your
art to the world.

-There are no jobs or tasks that you have to do when
you're a member, but we encourage members to add fellow
members to watch, participation, and feedback on people's
work.



So I'm from CT, but I'm not from Coventry, is there anything I can do?

-Although we cannot feature your deviations if you don't live in Coventry, we would however love to favorite your art! If you add us to your watch, we'll in turn add you to our's, and favorite any piece that you submit that we enjoy. Getting your art favorited means that your piece will be seen by all of our members and veiwers (we have approx 60-80 viewers a day.) ! So please, feel free to add us to your watch, and send us a note so we know that you're from Connecticut, and we'd love to favorite some of your pieces.

-New members are joining all the time, and we're glad to see the
participation. Recently and

Miscellaneous


-Recently *Jdreams has bought us a 3 month subscription to
Deviantart. This will allow us to use polls, message boards, a
shoutbox, calender, and much more





Collaborations


-*CoventryDeviants has hopes of collaborations between its
members, and possibly outside influences as well. More info
coming in the future.


Contests


-We hope to have poetry, photography, and illustrations
contests for prizes soon. Check back for details.


Other


-We have many other ideas for contests and projects, more
info later.
